    The idea is the same like a rivets, or duct tape. In single point it is not too strong, but you spread load points across entire structure and you have solid effect.

    I did this welding May 2014. As of now been a year. No problems so far. Weld DO hold. I am using ASV RC-100 with Ryan's 15" share and Fecon Bullhog BH74SS. So a lot abuse coming onto this machine. About 400 Hours. So far so good. P.S. If you do not trust mig-weld because it does not penetrate...

    It is actually weakness in this specific undercarriage design IF machine working extremely hard. I've seen same problem through all models which using this undercarriage: ASV RC100; RC85 Terex PT100; PT110 Caterpillar 287B

    Just got it.

    Hello every one. I am new here. Just got new (to me) 2004 ASV RC100. 3,200 hours. Needs alot of weldings, repairs and overdue maintanance. Paid $11K What do you think? P.S. Admin, how can I post pictures?
