Engine gear box not filling. Thank goodness. I found a page in repair manual that says to pressurize oil reservoir to 4 pounds of air pressure and test for several hours to find leaks in lines and fittings. But willl not show internal leaks. Sounds easy enough. Your thoughts????????

Good Info. Definately not water. Will try to check all fittings to make sure they are tight. If that dosen't work to the dealership I guess

OH. Warning lamp blinking is the air filter light. I checked both inner and outer and they are new?????. Manual came in today. Lol

Ran machine for 30 min and hyd oil started to foam up again. The only thing I can think of that I have not done is check for loose fittings on pumps. Is there anything else you can think of that might cause the problem??????????? Thanks

Well got everything back together and moved dirt for about 15 min and no foaming. Yet. Lol. Temperature outside was cooler than previous running days but so far so good. Now that you mention it the instrument panel is doing weird things. I have not had machine long enough to be familiar with it...

Oh yea. About the error code 2. If the wire to the fuel solenoid had a short or was grounded would the machine be able to run????? The engine does run quite well.

OK. Changed the main suction line from tank to inlet of hyd pump. Also changed return line. No visible signs of holes in lines but some wear and what seemed to be some surface cracking. No visible hole to tell if either line was leaking or sucking in air?? Also double clamped all ends of hoses...

Ok here is the low down. Machine had oil leaks so previous owner changed a couple hoses and hyd pump. Another leak later he gave up and I bought it. Turned out both lift arm hoses had been pinched????? Shield was on when i bought it. Anyway, i replaced both hoses and machine worked fine. Took it...

Any ideas please!! Machine was working fine then loader started getting jerky. Stopped running and noticed hyd oil foaming and spilling out vent cap. Lots of air I assume?? Changed hyd filter and oil , same problem. Looks like someone changed the gear pump before i bought the machine.
