Tazza there is a bleed valve in the fuel filter housing. And yes by all means gasoline mixed in with the diesel fuel will cause this same symptom, ive seen it happen many times, like tazza said bypass the fuel in the tank and try runnin it off of fresh fuel from a jerry can :)
Do you have any codes? Check them by pressing and holding the headlamp button, if any they are explained in the little book behind the seat by your right shoulder, also I assume you are pressing the activation button for the aux hyd? :)
