    DC Thermal Cab heaters

Curious to know if anyone has tried the new version of the DC Thermal Cab heaters, They look like they have a nice design with different vents and hoses. Its getting close to that time of year again when I have to start thinking about snow and cold weather. I've done a ton of research on cab...

    Amsoil in a 763?

Hi guys, I've been thinking about this for quite some time and I'm still on the fence. The problem is that Its time to service my machine and I was thinking about switching it over to Amsoil. I have an outlet for Amsoil so that isn't a problem. Here is the problem: I bought this machine this...

Cab heater pics on a 763

I know I could fabricate something up, I could also buy an aftermarket unit and make that work. Im thinking more about resale down the road...if I install some goofy aftermarket heater or something that looks hacked in there, it may hurt the resale. If I could find someone that wanted to remove...

Cab heater pics on a 763

Thanks for all the pics mini! Now if I could only find someone that had a heater in there unit that either no longer works or the skid loader is now a open station, I would be in business! I called bobcat and the price for the plumbing kit and the heater are just over 1000.00! I would really...

Cab heater pics on a 763

mini, If you could take some pics that would be so appreciated. I don't really know what to tell you....What I need for sure is where the ducts run to and from, how the heater is fastened in the cab and what the controls are and look like for the heater (both the heater box and the electronic...

    Factory Cab heater

skidsteer.ca, how would this set up work with the heater that showed me in the link? As far as I can tell the one in the link is just a heater core with a blower motor, do they offer the ducts for under the seat and the holes in the housing for the ducts as well or is this something that I would...

Cab heater pics on a 763

I'm curious to know if anyone has pictures of a factory cab heater installed in a 1998 763 or similar. For some reason I thought that I seen some of them with heater vents under the seat, and some with the heater core and blower next to your left arm. Maybe factory ones have both, and the vents...

    Factory Cab heater

Im looking for a factory cab heater out of a 763 1998 model or similar. I know there are aftermarket ones out there, just that I would like to have a "factory look". My skid loader has a full glass cab enclosure but no heater. I need any or all parts to install it. If someone out there has a...

Advice in buying a 742 please

Glad to hear that it all went well for you! Hopefully you get many years of use out of the machine. "Like my father always said take care of it and it will take care of you." You'll really like this machine after running a 610, its a huge step up! I might have a manual for your machine...

Advice in buying a 742 please

Hi fugarwe, I can't help you on the starting situation. I have a 742b and it likes it full choke and half throttle until you get it started, then let it run for a few mins and apply half choke, run a few more and no choke. It sounds to me like this poor unit is about used up. Its too bad were...

742B-glowing exast pipe, muffler, and exast manifold

After careful consideration, I've discovered my problem. The key had sheared off the crank pulley and rotated about 30 degrees. So when I timed the motor up I was actually retarding the timing by about 40 degrees. Its amazing that it would even start. After the timing was corrected, the thing...

742B-glowing exast pipe, muffler, and exast manifold

According to the timing light, the marks on the engine and the mark on the crank pulley the timing is on, has been on and continues to be on. Its good and tight and has not retarded or advanced itself. I don't think that timing is the issue at hand. Im gonna check it one more time tomarrow...

742B-glowing exast pipe, muffler, and exast manifold

The Timing is set according to the service manual, as I own one for this machine. The timing jerry is refering to is for the old original "742" with the ford engine. The "742B" has the updated Mitsubishi motor, which is what mine has. The service manual says to time it at 5 degrees BTDC idling...

742B-glowing exast pipe, muffler, and exast manifold

Timing is set at 5 degress BTDC at idle (850-950rpms) with a mechanical advance of 10 degrees at wide open (2800rpm). Everything seems to be operating normal. This thing was originally set at about 10 degrees BTDC at idle before I adjusted it. Plus I never had any problems after I readjusted the...
