    LockNLube vs Lumax grease coupler...

Fwiw, I received the LockNLube yesterday. It reaches all the fittings on the Takeuchi. The diameter seems to be a touch less and the way the jaws open on it may also help it attach (where the Lumax couldn’t) on the narrow recessed zerks. Anyway, all good with the LockNLube.

Thanks. Returned the Lumax and have the LockNLube on the way.

NLGl No 1 versus NLGl No 2 greases...

Read an article saying to use NLGl No 1 grease when temperatures drop below 0 degrees Celcius (winter use) and NLGi No 2 grease when above the colder winter temperatures. Thoughts?

    LockNLube vs Lumax grease coupler...

Fwiw, I just sent a Lumax grease coupler back because the tip diameter was too large to fit into the recessed tunnel where a couple of zerks on my track loader are situated. Have a LockNLube on the way, hoping that the diameter is slightly smaller. On the zerks that the Lumax was able to reach...

    Floor / trolley jack suggestion

Found a 5 Ton floor jack on sale so grabbed it. Frickin heavy tho :) Anyway, it will let me get the Track Loader up and down safely and quickly.

    Floor / trolley jack suggestion

Hi gang. Kinda looking for a 5 ton floor jack, to make life easier and faster when swapping tracks. I don’t have a dedicated forklift or another set of hands here. Rather than all the blocking and using the machine hydraulics to lift the loader, it would be nice to simply use a floor jack and...

Just ordered ‘snow tracks’ and carbides...

If anyone is interested in using their tracked Tak for snow removal, here is what I learned. Of course you may have different experiences but maybe this will help someone who is looking for better traction in the snow. After having talked to as many people as I could find about using tracks for...

How to raise the cab. TL10

As mentioned, tons of good videos here... very informative even if they aren’t your exact model. https://www.takeuchi-us.com/videos/

Any way to figure out ground contact pressure between a tractor (tires) and compact track loader?

The father in law, (if you knew the guy, you’d get it) is ranting that the new Takeuchi track loader I just bought (7800 lbs) is going to ‘tear up’ the ground around here and I should just have used his John Deere 2520 wheeled tractor (2000 lbs). While I appreciate that the garden tractor is a...

    2” receiver / hitch attachment

Searched the forum and didn’t find anything - sorry if I missed it. Want to move the boat/trailer around the yard and am wondering if you guys suggest that a separate trailer hitch / receiver attachment is necessary or can a person attach a 2” ball onto the bucket and not screw anything up? Thanks.

    TL6R experiences?

Spent the last few months looking, trying, and discussing first skid steers and then track loaders. Decided that even though they are generally more expensive, that a track loader was better for our situation. Looked seriously at Case, Gehl, Kubota and Takeuchi. Narrowed it down to Kubota and...

    Any Albertans on the forum?

Wondering if any Albertans are on the forum that could give me their opinion on a solid, shop or salesperson they have dealt with there. Due to there seeming to be a lot more product in Alberta, I would be willing to drive out there from the Shuswap, BC area to pick up a skid steer / track...
