The first thing to check is the relay in the fuse box, it may be relay #14 marked "traction". Try swapping with another relay that you know is functioning. I recommend the front headlight relay (its easy to know for sure if that one is working). What you are looking at under the cab/seat is the correct solenoid that lifts the locking bar and makes the clicking noise when unlocked. I'd bet the relay is the issue though. If it is the solenoid, I think you can loosen it up and manually pull the locking pin and move the machine, but you wont have parking brakes any more. But to move the machine in a pinch I've heard this works, never had to try it.

my machine has 5 relays on the back left corner under the air cleaner i switched the one that said brake with the glow plug that's not the problem i have 12 volts going to the brake solenoid that sticks out of the top of the chain case all i had was a test light my friend is coming over soon with his multimeter so we can test the solenoid the box i was talking about before is mounted to the side of the machine under the trim panel that ur steering leavers go threw the relay u cant remove either i think it has something to do with the aux hydraulics but not sure thanks for all ur hlep
