bobcat 632 auxiliary hydraulics

Hey Guys I have a late 70's Bobcat 632 - im wanting to buy a 4 in 1 bucket but before i do i want to make sure the auxillary hydraulics work - everywhere i have looked it says that my right "stick" should move side to side to operate them but mine doesnt move? Is there something i need to do to activate the lines? Cheers, Dave

Old Machinist will have the drawing of it but at the base of the right stick there is a plate where a 3/8 bolt can be inserted to stop accidental engaging of the aux hyd. If it still does not engage check back by the valve. On the one I had the hoses interfered and I had to zip tie one out of the way. you will have to take a access plate off or remove the seat to see the base of the right stick though.

The lock bolt is likely still in place that keeps the handle from moving sideways. Lift the cab and remove the small bolt I've noted on the parts diagram.

If the bolt is still in place the aux. circuit may have never been used. You may want to clean and lubricate the linkage from handle to the valve.

On mine though cab did not lift so you had to removc the seat pan. but maybe accessed through the cover on the vertical part behind the park brake pedal? Taking the seat out is not that much fun.

Yes, I forgot the old machines didn't have the tilt cab. Seat pan and steering covers need to come off.
