my tires are rotting out. I replaced one with a new one, now I want to put on another one. I would guess that both should be on the same axle. don't know if it should be on the front or rear. I think working in dirt should give enough slippage the tire height should not matter.

At the mill where I work we have bobcats and for the last 20+ years they have replaced tires as they go bad and usually never in pairs. One will have full tread, one will be showing the fibers, and the other 2 in between. The only problem I have noticed was the bucket will sit uneven, if you do a lot of scraping if can be a pain to level something out.

This is the information that is in all the Bobcat operators and service manuals.
