You may also have to crack open the fuel lines at each injector and have someone crank it over until you have fuel at each one and then retighten them.Don't know about a Case but on a Bobcat there is a bleeder screw on the fuel filter housing that you open and then squeeze the primer bulb until you get a good flow. If there's no system like that on yours you can try taking the fuel filter off and filling the filter with clean fuel, reinstall and try again.
What he said. I ran out of fuel one time, actually had it shut off the clean the filter and forget to turn it on. Got by with just bleeding at the pump. That was my John Deere 650. Never run out of fuel with a diesel. You may also have to crack open the fuel lines at each injector and have someone crank it over until you have fuel at each one and then retighten them.
