Undercarriage seems to be the weak spot. Make sure all the track lugs are not chewed up, wheels turn without noise/don't have bearing play/ have rubber rims intact, drive motors aren't leaking, etc. Often the wheels look fine, but the insides of them are chewed up due to rocks and debris getting caught between the rail and the plastic wheel...chews up the retaining clip that holds the bearings in.
