my nephew in central mn got a new doosan skidsteer lately and I drove it just a little yesterday. He said it is 75 hp minimal electronics, easy on fuel and cost 28000 with tracks on it. It was a very smooth operating machine. He stated it was several thousand less than the competition, he had a gehl before.

Did he have a gehl ctl or just a skidloader? If he had a ctl did he have any trouble? thanks Brent.
Brent, he had a big Gehl skidloader with tracks on it, fairly new I think. I saw it last summer and I know it had a oil cooled diesel engine. He said a friend of his had a similar machine and had to put a lot of money into it so he traded and got the new one with 3 year warranty. the way those guys farm down there they just don't have time to make any big repairs themselves.By the way can skidsteer tires be recapped?

The tire shop Quoted me 150$ per tire. If you have foam filled tires it would be worth it. Mike
