Will a 974 Bobcat Engine fit into a 975 Bobcat ?

Does anyone know if a Perkins diesel engine from a Bobcat 974 will fit into a Bobcat 975 ? The Bobcat 975 is equipped with a John Deere diesel engine. Any info would be appreciated! Yesterday I posted this in the general repair and did not get a reply. Thought I would try my luck here. If not, I'd really like to know what other engines will fit a 975 Bobcat. Thanks, Dean

I don't know if it will bolt up or not , but would have to think that a lot of things will be different , and it would probally turn into a major retrofit project , but anything can be done if you have the time and money , I do know the Perkins is a 4.236 78 hp , and the Deere is a 4.276 82 hp
