Hi to all. I was just looking at a tool and a it reminded me of a good tip that I would like to share. I have found that buying a "cheap" set of jumbo wrenches 13/8 to 2" (about $30.00) and then cutting them in half work great on hyd fittings. you can put your faviort cheater pipe over the end or hit with a hammer. I even like the box end better when cut off alot handier then the big wrench.

I hear ya MrDeere , I got a whole set of cut wrenches and use them alot ----------- take a open end wrench and cut it with about a 1 inch stub of a handle , cut a socket in half and then weld the square drive half the socket to the wrench and you have a crow foot , use a grinder to tune up the ends of the wrench so it gets into a tighter spot

Harbor Freight sells a set of service wrenches for $50 that also work well for hose fittings.
