I bought two new tires for my bocat 371, should I go tubeless or tube? Or does it realy matter? The new tires are 5.90x12.

If your rims are good, stick with tubeless. Easier to repair a puncture, just get them to install a ropie, no need to remove the tyre and patch the tube too.

What is a ropie?
A puncture repair plug, it looks like a piece of rope that you insert from the outside of the tyre, saves dismounting the tyre and installing a patch. Great for gear like this, quick and easy.

Dont feel bad 371 I had never heard a plug called a ropie but that is what I assumed it was. Strange how a simple item has two completely different names.
