Is there a way to test the magnetic switch? I have put an om meter on while using a magnet and get nothing. Or can I by pass it to test therest of system?
Sadly no, they are haul effect I think, not simply a magnetic open/close switch.
You can't just by-pass it either.
What you can do, is take the sensor and magnet out and turn the machine on and rotate the magnet and see if the light on the panel comes on. If not, it is likely that the issue is the sensor.
