Can I just switch the fittings of the hoses with out causing any issues? Thanks in advance for any help or answers you can provide. Duke Rangers Lead The Way!
I, recently, bought a 2012 Tak TL230. I don't understand when to use the one way vs. two way flow (green lit switch), the detent option (yellow lit switch) or why I would ever use the Low Flow switch, which is functional and lights up on the control panel (Btw, I do not have the high flow option). In short, here are my questions and any help is appreciated : 1) Used my Blue Diamond brush cutter for hours at a time in "detent mode" this weekend cutting brush and sapplings. Just got my manual and it says not to use "detent mode for too long". What do you consider "too long" and why? 2) In simple terms, when do I use the yellow and green buttons? 3) When would one want to use one-way flow vs. two-way flow? What attachments for each? 4) Why does the grapple bucket work without any colored buttons on? 5) I have an Auger that I've never hooked up, so what mode should it be used in? 6) I have a 4 n 1 bucket coming. I suspect it will work like the grapple bucket with no colored buttons on. Am I correct in this thinking? 7) What would you use the Low Flow Hydraulic switch for? (Again, my machine does not have High Flow capacity) 8) Evidently, the "detent mode", as set up on this machine, is, just, useable in the clockwise rotation. If I want to cut, just, grass in the "detent mode", I'd like to reverse the rotation of the cutter to use the fresh side of the blades. Can I just switch the fittings of the hoses with out causing any issues? Thanks in advance for any help or answers you can provide. Duke Rangers Lead The Way!
