Stump Bucket-different

Some guy on ebay is selling stump buckets that are built a litte different. IMO It would be far simpler to build. 20 in. thick walled steel pipe. What do you guys think?.

Looks good but does it work? I'd like to Field test it with a 800 series skidseer (Bob-Cat) don't look like a (Bob-Kitten) can do much with it in hard ground. The length looks real good. I seen short ones that looked like backhoe buckets welded to a Quick Plate. Anyway that's my thoughts.

$1395.00...I don't think so, that's a perfect candidate for 'homemade'. Come to think of it, there are tons of old farm implements laying around that could be used for all sorts of projects.

And there made from good metal....
