Does any company manufacture and/or sell a leaf shredder for a skid steer? I really need an alternative to engine-mounted chipper/shredders, which are trash in a few years.
That's one attachment i don't think i have seen.
The only iussue i see is the amount of HP you can get to it on a regular machine. Having it's own engine means you get that full amount of power to it.
If the machine was hi flow then yes, you can get some serious power, but on a standard flow setup, it doesn't have as much.

I have used my Loftness flail mower to chew up a windrow of leaves around the perimeter of my yard. In the fall I will mow and blow all the leaves to the edge and chew them up into little bits with the flail.
