Rubber Track Repair Kit..... Try it or Pass?

I found a kit and some products online that I was wondering if anyone has tried or has any knowledge of. Or does anyone have a better suggestion? It sucks to have 80% of your tracks tread life still left and a cut track exposing the cables. I have never used the repair kit you refer to. I have used many of the Devcon products and they all did work as advertised. Since it is from Devcon I would be willing to take a chance.
