Whats the fix? mine are worn some and could use some work too....Jeff
The bobtach pivot pins which have the a-taper end that fits into the end of the boom has a tendency to wobble out from the bolt which holds the pin in being loose , this will oblong(egg shape ) the hole the a-taper seats in , once this happens it is hard to kept the pin tight and it just keeps getting worse and worse , there is a bushing to fix this problem , easist way to install it is a magnet drill press , but can be done with a large drill , you drill the a-taper hole out so the new bushing can be placed in the hole , after assembling the bobtach and pins you weld the bushing in and the a-taper is back to OEM specs , Construction Tool Parts has the bushings , pins , etc ------if the weldment that holds the bobtach pin bushing in the bobtach has woddled out the hole there too much for a new bushing to hold in it , you can buy the weldment and cut , then weld the bushing holder in bring that bushing back to new
