Just bought a L555 with a bad drive motor. I got the old one out and the new motor in. I pulled the fittings off the old motor and installed them on the new motor, and the 90° fitting now faces 180° in the wrong direction making it impossible to hook the hose up to it. If I loosen it and put it in the right direction, I'm afraid it will be to loose and will leak. What should I do here?

The hex nut portion of the fitting is separate from the fitting. It is probably just stuck. Hold the fitting with a wrench and use another wrench on the hex nut portion. It should free up fairly easily. Once the nut is free to rotate, position the fitting and tighten the nut.

Ha, I even looked at that and it looked like a single piece, thanks!
