Hello folks,

My name is Marten and I am in the market to buy a Skid Steer.
I have one in mind, a Prime Mover LS75 from the '80's I think.
The reason to look for this one is that I already have a Prime Mover Backhoe. At present the Backhoe is attached to my Deutz D4006.
The Deutz can lift the backhoe easily, but I am wondering if the LS75 can lift it. The thing weighs about a 1000 pounds I think.
So looking for the specs: How much can it lift and what is the pump-capacity? The Deutz does about 5 - 6 gallons a minute.

Hope someone can help me finding the specs ;)

Cheers, Marten

Good Morning Marten,

The specs I found, suggest that the LS75 only lifts about 700 pounds, but I would be more worried about the size being out of balance with the backhoe, the LS75 is pretty small, and likely lite too. From what I have seen, the soil in the Netherlands is pretty sandy, but if you get into tree roots and what not, you might be going for a ride. Then again, that can be true with bigger machines too. What is your price range? I have a good t190 with highflow I picked up in the Netherlands for around 17,500.00 a few years back, so there are some good deals out there, and the 190 at 3800kg and little over 900kg lifting won't have a problem with the backhoe. Hard to tell from your pictures, does the backhoe have three point mounting only or an adapter plate from skid steer mount?

All the best from Germany. -Matt

Thank you Matt. This one will sell for 5000 euro's. I am going to use it once in a while. Around the house. So small jobs.
The other worry is the parts. Can one still get them?
Can you share all the specs? I even don't the type of transmission. See in the part book; chains?

Morning Marten, So I simply did a google search in English for "prime mover ls75 specs," and got a few thousand hits with the first page listing sites that might be helpful, but by the bottom of the second page, most of the hits no longer had anything to do with the ls75. I image that by page 10, I would be seeing suggested "prime mover and shaker porn" sites but that is pretty much the internet anyway. Some of the relevant hits were listing for parts, and first hit, was a "Equipmentwatch.com app, that listed the 700lbs lifting capacity, but requires an account to see further. Hope this helps.

Thanks, I found them also. Even after registering, no more information.
