just bought a used ls180, all seems to work well however there doesn't seem to be a float position for the boom. when you press the pedal all the way down with your toe, the boom lowers but when it goes to the stops, the hydraulics seem to labor and the boom doesn't go into float, and pedal doesn't feel like its going into a detent position to hold it in float. just wondering if the machine's hydraulics are not set up to float. please advise, thanks.

The loader does have a float position but it probably has not been used in awhile and the internal parts of the detent are probably corroded. The detent housing is on the back of the control valve and will need to be removed to free up the balls and springs.
