I picked up this fairly clean LS120 this past weekend and the old onan is going to need a little work. the loader has only about 600 hours on it but rather than trying to get the onan back in good working order I was going to just swap in a Kubota D722 which I happen to have on hand. The issue I am facing is seeing that the onan rotates clockwise (flywheel side) and the Kubota rotates counter clockwise. I even found the specs on the LS125 diesel engine and it also rotates counter clockwise like the kubota. Looking at all the parts diagrams I can not find much different between the LS120 and LS125 other than the actual engine and a few parts. How did New holland accomplish this when the two motors used in these loaders rotate in different directions? Is it possible to just swap holes on the pumps and let them run the other direction or something?
