Hi All,
My First time posting on a forum and first time owning a skid steer, just purchased an old 2003 mustang 2044,
Just giving it a full service of oils and filters etc..

Questions: hydraulic oil temp guage isn't working, Where would I find the oil temp sensor??

Also the motor is a yanmar 4TNE84, what is the second yellow oil cap for? and how much/what oil should I put? Please see pic attached for reference, I've circled the cap in question.

Thanks for any input, much appreciated, these mustang machines aren't popular in Australia, so hard to find information I'm finding.

that is another oil fill, they do that because sometimes on a certain applications the oil fill on the valve cover is hard to get at and the other way around too, nothing uncommon at all.

as far as oil temp I am almost sure that is hydro oil temp. not engine oil temp. and I do not know exactly on that machine it is.
