I have a Mt55 with about 320 hours on it. Recently the Hydraulic oil light came on. The light goes on and off while running and seems to be in relation with the engine rpm. I have installed a new hydraulic filter and the light sill comes on intermittently. Is there a way to test the sensor to see if it is bad. I suspect a bad sensor but would like to verify. Thanks Rod

Another way is to pull the sender and install a pressure gauge. I don't know what the pressure is meant to be in that model though. If you call your local dealer and talk to the service department, they can tell you.
Senders do go bad, so hopefully that is all it is.

85 psi. is what it should be set at. The switch opens when below 25 psi
