Can any one tell me what year my skid steer was made? I asked the dealer and all they could tell me was it might be 20 years old. I have looked all over the web and have found that it was made between 1988 and 1994 but I would like at lest a year. Not that it matters just like to know. It is a 783 and the serial number is 834247. It has the ford motor.

My ls160 was in the system, they put the serial # in the computer and told me it was put into service in 04/2000 and had never had a warranty repair. I'm guessing that in 1988 to 1994 they were not registering their machines into a database yet.

Thanks Ken, I though that maby there was some kinda of info you could get through the vin#.
