Hello, New Holland LS 170 serial LMU012222 with a leaking fuel tank. I found this post: http://www.skidsteerforum.com/DesktopDefault.aspx?tabid=54&frmView=ShowPost&PostID=73917 Would the removal procedure be similar, from the bottom? With the lock down I have not seen the unit. The skid steer belongs to the scout camp in Maryland and I am trying to help the camp ranger. Thank you

I don't know your machine but the tank probability will have to come out the bottom. On my machine I needed 17" to get the tank out. So you need a lot of wood and be careful. I used a floor jack with a board to support the tank out then in. Don't forget the fuel sending unit wire. It will be a plastic tank. You may be able to find someone to weld the hole. Will save you a lot of money. Lock the boom up. I took the bucket off also. I used two jacks to raise the machine. Good luck and please be careful. Ron
