I am ready to change the last of the seals. The lift seal on one side, may go ahead and change the other. It is a s250. I was planning the task. I don't see how I could remove the cylinder without raising the lift. So I have it raised all the way, securely chained to a big oak tree. I assume this is the only way? The manual does not address access. So, am I making this harder than it should be?

On our s590 I placed a big steel shaft across the cab to hold the arms up.
