My 98 280 2 speed skid loader has the same issue repeatedly. The lower radiator hose keeps getting a pin hole rubbed through it from the engine belt pulley that sits near it. Does anyone know of any aftermarket solutions or ways to combat this?

you can try maybe twisting the hose so its farther away from things,
I Know on my one NH machine, it has to be twisted just right , to have distance from fan blades!
but when hose is installed correctly , its just fine
!and what I do also, is I then add a second layer of material to the hose to add some extra wear protection where it closest, so if it ever moves it has a little extra material to save it, , I inspect it often to make sure its not rubbing though,as things do move over time!
old rad hose held on with some zip ties?

So maybe try twisting it to get to to bend away from things more!
that or maybe remove hose and go to a good hose shop and have them try and find you a hose with more of a bend to things to get it away from things!

LAST?

they also sell large metal hose clamps that are a few inches wide, that I gather could be placed over the hose and prevent the rub thru , or take a LOT longer to do so!

but then you will just end up wearing out the fan belt a lot sooner ??
also,
if you add some pictures,. maybe we could offer better suggestions too!

ore than one way to skin a cat you know! Haha~!
