If I shoot air in the tank and air comes out just before the fuel injectors...

hi i have a 2006 asv 60

ran fine
I turned it off then it would not start
replaced fuel lift pump
cannot get fuel system to purge air
no fuel in any lines
on tip from internet i shot air in to fuel tank through cap.
air shoots all the way to injerctors... no fuel
does this indicate failure in the fuel pickup assebly?

I would think so ,but to confirm this if the machine does not use one ,place a primer ball on the suction side close as possible to tank and see if you can pull fuel to there, if you cant I would think it has to be the pick up. Or a crack in the fuel line between the primer ball and the tank.
