A fawn followed this beagle home right through the doggie door in the Bittinger, CO area. The owner came home to find the visitor had made himself right at home.

A friend had almost the same experience, he was bush hogging and came up on a doe dropping a fawn, the doe ran off so he took the fawn home and his wife bottled fed it for a few weeks. When it was winged off milk a local land management guy took it deep into the woods and released.
Before he released the fawn, I dropped by one day and rang the doorbell, I knew he had dogs and when, what I thought was a dog rubbing on my leg, I reached down to pat his head. Right off I knew something was wrong because I was rubbing what felt like bone!, looked down and surprise!, the fawn was acting just like his dogs. Followed me everywhere I went.
