Looking for some recomendations on grapple buckets. I need to purchase one. I looked at the Erskine and like the looks and build but the price is more than my budget can afford..........Any other brands you folks use and like. Thanks for your time. I appreciate it.........

dsileo, http://www.skidsteerexpress.com/cgi-bin/shopper.cgi?preadd=action&key=ROOT3RG-R72 I bought this and pallet forks from them. Took a few calls to talk to the right person, but shipped quick and I have used the heck out of the both. I'm impressed for the quality and the price. Pull a few stumps and dug and pick alot of rocks. IMO the way to go. sstec

Any updates on this rake style grapple? Am looking at one for my 773G for picking up branch piles, rocks, scrap metal. Wondering how it is holding up. Seems like its built right and priced very nicely.

I am thinking a bucket grapple would be better than a root/rake type of grapple. But I am not sure which would be the most useful in trying to get some light excavation business. And then do I go for a single or dual cylinder grapple? Ideas? I found a new cylinder bucket grapple for $925.
