Here is that grapple I built for my skid steer. It took longer to plan it that it did to build it. I thought it would be strong enough for anything, but luckily I tested it before I powder coated it. I had to bring it in for extra support on hinge points( bulged the square tubing it was attached to). Here is a link to it on youtube. What do you think? I am currently working on a set of hydraulic adjustable pallet forks. Here is a link You tube HEAVY DUTY GRAPPLE!

Quince, Do you happen to have a set of plans and a material list available for your grapple? I would love to make one, but I don't have the engineering skills to come up with something that nice! Thanks, Jim Wisconsin

Plans would be awsome!
What is the size of the cylinders?
Are you happy with the cylinder size?
should you have went bigger?

Thanks

I did'nt build it, but I really like it. The short tines don't allow it to hold as much volume, however it has fantastic break out force. Excellent for stripping debris from the soil.
