I have a 2017 Bobcat t450 that is throwing MO309 fault code. I just replaced the battery last month and that seems to be when the issue showed up. Since then, if it's been sitting for a few days, when I turn the key it beeps loudly and flashes the little book wrench code symbol, wont turn over and gives me the code on the screen. If I jump start it, it runs fine for the rest of the day. Seems like the battery is being drained somehow. Any tips on where to start?

Make sure all of your battery connections and grounding points are clean and tight.

Look for any bad cables. Sometimes they corrode or brake inside of the insulation.

Also, did you make sure that you got a new battery with the proper ratings?

I took the original Bobcat brand battery into NAPA and they they cross-referenced and gave me the one they said was the correct fit (I believe it's Interstate brand). The terminal orientation was switched on the new battery though, so it barely fit to pull the positive cable from the back toward the front of the tractor. I got it tight on there though.

Everything is very clean looking from the outside and the tractor only has 975 hours on it. I'll take the cables apart again and check them though.

If the terminal orientation was not correct it certainly was not the correct fit. That said if the cold cranking amps are correct and the cables reach without too much stress on them it should work.
Remember you do a lot of bouncing around on a Bobcat and if the cable is pulled tight it is much easier for things to work loose.
Consider getting a longer battery cable, but I would make sure you have a proper fit with your battery. I would be talking to NAPA again, but that is just me.
I cannot believe Interstate does not make the correct fit battery.

Is it possible you missed hooking up a wire at one of the terminals ? Or or pulled out when you were tugging on the cables to make them reach ?
