deutz BF4M1011 tappet clearance

does anyone know the tappet clearance intake and exhaust and what the torque is on the head thanks

The inlet is .3mm and the exhaust is.5mm.

The headbolt tightening procedure:
1st stage 30 Nm
2nd stage 80 Nm
3rd stage 160 Nm

I was also told after the 3rd stage of torgue to tighten head bolts 90% more and to use new head bolts, what are your thaughts on that. Larry

These specs are right out of the manual.I checked to see about doing the fourth step but it is not mentioned.
As far as replacing the headbolts, I'm not sure. If I was doing it for someone else and Duetz required it, I would probably replace.Someone else on the site with more practical experience could tell us whether or not it's a common practice. On other heads that I have replaced, including an international 6.9, I used the original bolts without a problem.Scott
