OK, I've gotten different statements on what's lawfull and what's not when securing equipment on a trailer, are the 'snap' chain binders outlawed? and the 'ratchet binders' required?. One retailer said only american made 'ratchet binders' were legal, China 'ratchet binders' are illegal. I believe national DOT regulations are nation wide?.
Thanks in advance,

Perry

Isn't that just like the government. Its completely legal to import and sell all this cheap Chineese crap, but illegal to use. Sounds just like guns and drugs!!!! Go figure.
