It looks harder then it is

First thing your going to have to figure out is what your going to use to pull it out with (Remove battery)

I personally have always liked to use the forklift but I have in the past use an overhead crane before in the old shop

Most of the times I use a chain but sometimes depending on the model and space, I will make a backet to bolt to the engine

Second thing is are you going to take the pump with the engine or only the engine

I have tried it both ways before, me personally I think pulling the pump with the engine is easier but more messy if you don't have caps for the lines, obviously you need to drain the hydraulic oil from the system to do that

I found lining up the engine to pump was hard for one guy operation

Disconnecting the wiring harness and fulel lines (turn fuel off) from the engine, draining the coolant, is not too bad of a job either just make sure you mark, I like to use colored zip ties for almost everything

Some applications removing the radiator is mandatory

I mean othe than some basic hald tools you'll need loosen engine mounting bolts / nuts / studs / require extra force

Thinking to cut here and weld back after. Way simpler than removing the engine in my opinion.

Cutting and welding might seem like a shortcut, but it can introduce new complications like misalignment or future structural weaknesses. If space is tight, I'd recommend following the proper removal procedure—removing the engine, even if it's time-consuming. It ensures you don't run into more issues down the road
