Can someone with Bobcat 825 experience weigh in?

I have an older Bobcat 825 with the external chain adjusters. I have read through everything Bobcat ever published on the machine, service manual, owners manual, etc, and I cannot answer one simple question. I have never adjusted the chain tension and one side is getting a little loose, does anyone know if there is a seal under the adjuster. What I mean is, is there any chance of casing a leak by loosening the chain adjuster, adjusting tension and tightening again. None of the manuals show a seal or a o ring. I just replaced all 30 gallons of hydraulic oil and I really can't afford to cause a leak, but I just can't figure it out. Brian

Thanks OM, I have never seen that diagram before but it is very helpful. Have you ever adjusted the chain tension on one of these? I wonder if they are prone to leaking. Brian

I've never done one myself but I also haven't heard of any problems with leaking there.
