Hey guys new to the forum, just picked up a used 1995 763 Bobcat and have a question- The Bobcat bucket will not stay in the up tilt position, it slowly drops with or without load no matter the throttle speed. I know this has got to be a common problem with a valve or piston seal, I just dont know where to start, if anyone has had this problem let me know. I just dont want to pay to have it looked at from the dealer when I can fix it myself. I might add that even with the Aux Grappler the problem is the same. Thanks for any help, or if you know anyone around the Salt Lake valley I could take it to other then the Stealership!

If you remove the hose from the base end of the cyl, the top, and plug it. When you tilt back, there should be very little oil coming from the cyl port, once the bobtach is all the way back. If there is, chances are the piston seals are pooched. This test will also work with your grapple.
