Bobcat Service Tool

Just to throw this out there, but I noticed that on my last trip to Bobcat for maintenance, the tech plugged my s205 into his Dell Laptop. I was quite impressed with the information they can obtain from this connection. Does anyone know where you can get this software and/or the connector?

My *new* 753 has a computer and i'd be interested in what can be done with hooking up a lappy to it. Faults, previous errors etc.

I wish I knew more about computer programming. Actually, I know nothing about computers except how to get on this site and look at porn. There has to be away to figure out a program that can read information off the bobcat computer. It seems there are about a dozen companies making programmers for diesel trucks - I can't imagine a truck computer being more complicated than my 2008 Superduty?

My brother is a computer programmer, if you knew how to interface with the computer and know what the data was that it spits out it can be done. The problem is how do you know what is what? I'm sure the interface is a simple serial connection but again you need to know where to attach it to and protocols etc....
Sounds like a project, but i don't know if i'd like to "play" with my computer in fear something could go wrong and i'd need to talk to my dealer to get a new one!
