Bobcat s220 short to ground

I have an 06 Bobcat S220. The fuse for the computer keeps blowing. When I put a test light I am getting a connection to ground. Unhooked the computer, the short goes away. Put in a known good computer, short comes back. Remove the computer the short is gone.

I have unplugged the whole harness, put computer in, short is back. Probed anything I could find, still cannot find anything wrong with the harness.

Any suggestions?????

I do not know the pin functions but as a guess on what is going on , I would say that your problem is beyond the computer, maybe you can disconnect one at a time harnesses that leave the computer and go to the machine systems until you do not pop a fuse, yes it will be a pain in rump.

hi thanks for the reply i have unpluged as much as i could find have a loader coming to pick it up and put on the trailer so i can blast all the grime out of it to see if i missed anything should be i the next day or two will post back

remember to open your pan drains to let all that crud out easier.
