Bobcat S175 Hour Meter Display

I have a 2005 Bobcat S175 which I just purchased. The hour meter display LED is blank on the left hand display. The temperature and fuel gauge all work but the hour meter LED is blank. The bulbs are good and I have checked the harness and it looks good. Any suggestions on this. I know a new one is $350.00 and non returnable if it is not the LED. Is there anyway else I cas see how many hours on this machine. I would really like the display to work.

is the bulb holder good , you can buy it as a pigtail ---swop panels with another machine and see if it works --hooking it up at the dealer will get the hours for you
