I have been using float off & on all winter on the snowblower. This machine has foot controls. Lifted the cab up and still cannot get the petal back to neutral. The dealer thought might have to take the spool apart to get it to release. This happen to anybody else? Thanks Dana

It is very possible that something is wrong with the plunger spring, it is not bad to check spool

Id using float mode a bit, it's possible the balls that are used to lock it into place or the housing has worn causing it to bind up. To access it, you need to remove the cap off the back of the control block. The tricky part will be getting it out if it's bound up really tight. Hopefully wtisting and pulling will get it free.
