Does this model Kubota 2203 have a transfer or lift pump[fuel] or is it in the injecter pump? Thanks Joe
Thank You Fishfiles The fuel pump looks like a small sending unit? Can the pick up tube be changed with out removing engine? Thanks JoeYes it does have a lift pump , mechanical , on the side the motor facing you with the fuel hoses connected to it ----------the 22 series lift pump very seldom go out and when they do they usually put diesel in the engine oil , having a fuel supply problem , look to the fuel pickup tube
There is an oil pressure sending unit right there it has a watertight plug on it , the lift plump is round on top , has two fuel hoses on it and looks like a minuature old school automotive fuel pump ----------the fuel tube can be removed fairly easy on a 763 , did you take the fuel hose off the bulb on the motor side the bulb , squeeze the bulb and you should be able to get fuel to and thru the primer bulb from tank , sometimes you may have to squeeze bulb and with it squeezed in put your finger over end of hose barb of bulb , let go of your squeeze and it should create a suction , if there is a clog it may stay sucked in , sometimes I see the check ball thats built into the hose barb of the bulb get full of dirt and clogged upThank You Fishfiles The fuel pump looks like a small sending unit?
