Are you talking the small breather in the the chaincase cover? If so, you have a drive motor seal leaking hydraulic fluid into the chaincase. It's plum full and the oil has no where to go other them the breather. If so pull the chaincase plug in front of the machine and see if its gallons overfilled. Motor carrier seals are pretty easy to do as long as the carrier bearings are good.
