hi new to the forum looking at my 1st skid steer a bobcat 743 asking $4500 runs and works good can I find the year of the thing ser# is 5019m23278 and is it a fair deal thanks carman

You will need to call your dealer for a year but it will be between 80-90's Honestly, a year for the machine will give you very little info. If it still runs well and starts easily its probably ok. The only thing that seems to give trouble are axle seals but they are not critical, as long as you keep the oil level topped up.

carman for what I see that sounds like a steel for the price. If it's the size you need then you really can't lose.
