I have fixed the problem. I got the machine running with help from a friend.the new carb works well.My timing was off which was why it was difficult to start. After reading another thread, I investigated my distributor. The original Ford distributors shaft is worn and has a little play (making the machine run rough). I installed a Pertronix electric ignition system and it starts and runs smoothly so far no issue with restarting it after it has warmed up. I'm still stumped as to why my auxiliary hydraulics don't work? Ive removed the 3/8 bolt from the right control stick to allow it to move left to right. Nothing happens?
