New to the forum. Looking for help with a Bobcat 453. The bucket won't curl/tilt back up unless the weight of the bobcat is on the bucket. The bucket curls/tilts down fine, and the arms goes up and down normal. All of the other hydraulics work normal. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Having the same issue but won't tilt in either direction. Arm lifts slowly and releases down of pedal is pushed forward and clicks (almost past how far it should go)

Hi tylerdurdenphi.

Pushing the pedal all the way plus some will make the loader arms lock in the float function if everything is working properly.
That part is normal. The rest of the problems you guys describe could be from an internal seal leak in the cylinders.

Could be blocked line, lose the hydraulic lines on the ether end of the bucket and run machine briefly, to check and see if oil comes out and or air. If that is all good check ur vale control flow silinodes..looks like the pic

If the bucket cylinders have extension force but not retraction force, almost certainly one of the bucket cylinders has the piston broken off the end of the rod.
