Battery for 763

i won a certificate for a new optima battery, coincidently my 763 needs a new one. However the certificate says any battery EXCLUDING GROUP 31. I have a sneaking suspicion that the 763 takes a type 31 battery, can anyone confirm that for me? Carl Johansson

The G series 773 only has room for a group 27 1999 and newer
May 753 c had room for a 31. If you have the Triangle shaped headlights then 27, rectangular head lites group 31.
I suspect youy 763 would be the same.
